The Waikato Chambers of Commerce helped for the first ever Lunch and Learn event by Torotoro in the offices of the Chambers.

Here you can see the original agenda.

Practical steps for owners and managers to fulfil their duties in cyber security.

What are the management responsibilities in cyber?

What is the process to get them solved?

How to create a clear vision and goals for your program?

How to build a cyber security program for your enterprise?

Needed ingredients: for a successful program.

There were a nice number of participants from different parts of the Waikato businesses and we had just 30 minutes to cover these points.

We heard a couple of questions, actually everybody asked a question about their cyber security concerns.

The following were the most typical:

  • Should we have on-premises or cloud-based back-ups? What are the differences and advantages of each?
  • How many back-ups should we have to be on the safe side?
  • How should we access our back-ups in the cloud?
  • Should we ban or allow the use of company assets (mobile devices) in working from home (WFH) scenarios?
  • Should we force employees to use separate machines for work and personal use?

The WCC is preparing a recording of the event which will be available soon.

But if you are impatient or having different questions related to cyber security, please contact us now๐Ÿ˜Š

Big thanks go to the WCC staff for their help.
Danielle, Jenny and Liam, thank you.
